Our 2008 Christmas Party had lots of great prizes. Many Thanks to Ralph Covington, W7SK who donated an Atwater Kent receiver. We liked the custom made sculpture by Steve Appel of a ham radio operator with a yagi antenna so much that it was given as a prize this year. Please Visit boltpeople.com to see some great creations by this very talented and unique artist.

We would like to Thank Mark, WI7YN from hamradiooutlet.com for contributing almost all of the great gifts for our party this year.

Thank you Mark WI7YN!!!

The 2008 Christmas Party photos will be posted soon.

Welcome Members & Guests

You have found the "biggest little chapter" in the "biggest little city" in the west. Our club began with ten members in 1994 and we have continued to grow in size and activities. Our premier event is The Annual Christmas Party and it is where we present our outstanding members with recognition and awards. Every other month of the year we host a brunch for members and guests to gather and keep in touch. We welcome all traveling members of QCWA chapters to stop by and visit us on your trips to Reno and Lake Tahoe. Meeting places are listed on the Calendar page. If you're a local or a visitor to the area The Silver State Chapter welcomes you all.
